Shtetl       Scribe

Hello

I’m a young Jew living in a small village in the UK, far from the bustle of  the big communities, but keeping them, and our teachings, close to my heart.

This is my safe and quiet corner of the internet. A place to think aloud, share what I’m learning, and speak up against the rising tide of antisemitism and distortion.

A living diary of sorts.

My blog is part diary, part letter to the world. I write about Jewish life, history, and identity, and try to make sense of the world through a lens shaped by tradition, ethics, and curiosity.

I remain anonymous not out of fear, but out of care... For my safety, for my peace, and for the freedom to speak honestly in a world that does not always welcome it.

Whether you're here to learn, reflect, or simply listen, I’m glad you found your way to this little digital shtetl.

“It is not your duty to finish the work, but neither are you free to desist from it.” - Pirkei Avot 2:16
